| The King Biscuit Blues
festival is held in Helena Arkansas every year the first weekend of
October. As a major blues fan and aspiring harmonica player, I never miss
it. The festival usually lasts for three days, Thursday, Friday, and
Saturday. There are usually 4 or 5 stages set up around town with great
bands playing from noon until midnight. In 2000, I was fortunate enough to
get a media pass for Saturday. I spent the day shooting pictures of some
of the biggest names in blues. I have about a thousand pictures from this that I
am in the process of scanning, bear with me and check back often.
